Sharaf DG attains certification to ISO 9001

Sharaf DG has achieved certification to ISO 9001:2008, the Quality Management System Standard. The certificate was handed to the CEO of Sharaf DG, Mr. Nilesh Khalkho at their Head Office by Theuns Kotze, Regional Managing Director for BSI Group, Middle East and Africa. ISO 9001 is the world's most recognized quality management standard. It sets the standard not just for quality management systems in particular, but management systems in general. 

Sharaf DG began operating in 2005 and since its inception it now has 26 stores in the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar, with expectations to expand into more countries in the Middle East such as Oman. It is one of the leading electronics outlets in the region.

Commenting on the occasion Mr Theuns Kotze said that ‘ISO 9001 outlines ways to achieve, as well as benchmark, consistent performance and service, by putting in place processes that allow you to improve the way you operate at all levels’. He congratulated Mr Nilesh Khalkho and his team and went on further to say that ‘such certification is a testament to your professionalism and drive to achieve excellence.
